Hip-hop producer Pharrell Williams has taken a strong stance against American celebrities publicly endorsing political candidates ahead of the upcoming presidential election.
In a candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Williams expressed his frustration with the trend, stating, "I don’t do politics. In fact, I get annoyed sometimes when I see celebrities trying to tell you [who to vote for]."

The Grammy-winning producer emphasized that many of these endorsements were unsolicited and that not every celebrity's opinion should hold weight.
"There are celebrities that I respect that have an opinion, but not all of them. I’m one of them people [who says], ‘What the heck? Shut up. Nobody asked you’," Williams added.

This comes at a time when several high-profile figures, including Taylor Swift, Megan Thee Stallion, and Billie Eilish, have publicly backed Vice President Kamala Harris. On the other side, former President Donald Trump has garnered endorsements from Elon Musk, Blac Chyna, and others.
Williams' remarks have sparked a broader conversation about the role of celebrities in influencing political opinions, particularly when their views may not align with those of the general public.
