Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has come to the defense of fashion entrepreneur Sophia Momodu following a public dispute with a real estate company that denied Momodu’s claims of owning a luxurious home she recently flaunted online.
The controversy began when Sophia, the mother of Afrobeats star Davido’s daughter, Imade Adeleke, took to Snapchat on September 20 to showcase what appeared to be her new home. However, the celebration quickly turned sour when the real estate company associated with the property released a statement claiming Momodu did not own the house.
In response, Sarah Martins slammed the real estate firm for its public handling of the situation, calling it "unprofessional" and accusing them of damaging Momodu’s reputation. Martins suggested that the house could have been purchased for Momodu by someone else, writing, “What if your so-called client bought it for her? Make una try dey rest.”
