Famous American singer and producer Frankie Beverly, known for his soulful hits and leadership of the iconic band Maze, has passed away at the age of 77. Beverly's family confirmed the heartbreaking news on the official Instagram account of Frankie Beverly and Maze on Wednesday.
In a heartfelt statement, the family wrote, “Grieving the loss of a loved one is a deep and emotional experience. During this time, as we are navigating feelings of sorrow, reflection, and remembrance we ask for privacy and understanding, allowing us the space to grieve in our own way.”
Frankie Beverly was widely celebrated for his contributions to R&B, soul, and funk, forming Maze in 1970, a group known for timeless hits like "Before I Let Go". His influence on the music industry spans decades, and his legacy will forever resonate in the world of music.
