Nigerian singer Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon, popularly known as Timaya, has voiced his anger against sellers of fake alcoholic products. The enraged singer, who seemed to have fallen victim to a scam involving counterfeit alcohol, expressed his frustration and vowed retribution against those responsible.
Taking to his X handle, Timaya vented: “It will never be well with people that sell fake alcohol. Amen.”

This incident follows a similar complaint made by fellow singer BNXN, aka Buju, last December. Buju called out a lounge for selling him adulterated and fake alcoholic beverages at the same price as the authentic ones. Emphasizing the importance of respecting customers’ health and money, Buju warned that if it happened again, he would publicly expose the establishment by taking the microphone from the club's hypeman.

Timaya's and BNXN's outbursts highlight a growing concern among consumers about the proliferation of fake alcoholic products in the market. The singers’ reactions underscore the need for stricter regulations and enforcement to protect consumers from fraudulent sellers.
