Nigerian songstress Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has shared an interesting aspect of her music preferences, stating that she doesn’t listen to other artists' songs aside from her husband, singer Adekunle Gold.
In a candid discussion on the ‘Zero Conditions’ podcast, Simi explained that her primary reason for exclusively listening to Gold's music is their marital bond.
“I don’t listen to anybody’s music, the reason I listen to my husband’s songs is because I’m married to him,” she said.
She went on to mention a few exceptions, expressing her fondness for Post Malone’s first album *Beerbongs & Bentleys* and her admiration for J.Cole. However, she emphasized that her general habit is to avoid listening to other artists' music. “I don’t really listen to anybody’s music. The reason I’m listening to my album now is because it just came out. In a few weeks, I probably won’t listen to it as much as I do now.”
