Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has opened up about her challenges as a single mother while celebrating her son, Festus Ojo’s graduation from a Turkish university. The divorced actress took to social media to share her journey and express gratitude for her successes.

In an emotional Instagram post, Iyabo reflected on the difficulties of raising her children alone. "As a single mother, it hasn’t been easy, but I give God all the glory for our success. From the Riverside City College in California to Altinbas University in Istanbul, Turkey, it can only be God," she wrote.

Iyabo's son Festus recently graduated from Altinbas University in Istanbul, Turkey, marking a significant milestone for the family. The actress shared photos from the graduation ceremony, beaming with pride.

Encouraging other single parents, Iyabo highlighted their strength and resilience. "To every single parent out there who’s been told they can’t make it, we are the true heroes and champions! We’ve proven them wrong, and I’m proud to be among them. We’re the true president general among the nation," she added.

Iyabo expressed her fulfillment as a mother and her excitement for the future. "Yes! I’ve fulfilled my duty as a great mother, and now it’s time to plan weddings and spoil my future grandchildren silly. To all my fans and loved ones, I say thank you, thank you, thank you."

This heartfelt revelation comes months after Iyabo Ojo disclosed that she isn’t open to remarrying. The actress revealed that she and her partner, music executive Paulo Okoye, are content with their relationship and have no plans to make it legal.
