In a candid interview with actress Biola Bayo on the "Talk To B" show, popular Nollywood actor Damola Olatunji opened up about his personal struggles, including the shocking revelation that his ex-fiancée became pregnant by another man just weeks before their introduction.
Addressing the ongoing controversies surrounding his split with Bukola Arugba, the mother of his twins, Olatunji clarified misconceptions about their separation. He emphasized the importance of parting ways peacefully rather than resorting to violence when a relationship isn't working out.
"My fiancée got pregnant for someone else, just weeks before our introduction," Olatunji shared, shedding light on a painful chapter in his life. He continued, "This is the first time I will talk about my divorce. Some said I left my marriage, I left the house, and I will be like, these are my kids. Feelings die, and love fades. If things are not working, it is better to go separate ways than to become physical."
Olatunji also highlighted the impact of public disputes on children, advising couples to avoid fighting dirty online. "Couples that have children together should not fight dirty online because your kids will grow up to read about the things you have said," he noted.
Despite the separation, Olatunji affirmed his commitment to his children, stating, "I’m not a deadbeat father. Despite our separation, I still attend to my kids’ needs. My kids will tell you, ‘My dad is the best in the world’."
This heartfelt revelation comes after actress Bukola Awoyemi, popularly known as Arugba, announced their separation in 2023. Olatunji's openness about his experiences aims to foster understanding and encourage others facing similar challenges to prioritize peace and the well-being of their children.
