American hip-hop star Eminem appears to have taken aim at fellow rappers Kanye West, aka Ye, Kendrick Lamar, and embattled music executive Diddy on his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coupe de Grâce).
In a provocative track titled ‘Anti-Christ’, Eminem vows to "whoop his haters’ asses" better than Diddy, who is currently facing several sexual harassment allegations, including gay sex trafficking. “Next idiot that ask me is gettin’ his ass beat worse than Diddy did,” he raps, directly referencing the ongoing controversies surrounding Diddy.
Eminem also takes a jab at Kanye West, making it clear he doesn't want to "fall off" like Ye. “Say they wish that I wasn’t so angry, don’t wanna see me go off the deep end like Ye, ayy,” he spits, highlighting Kanye’s tumultuous public persona and recent controversies.
The Detroit rapper didn’t stop there. In another track titled ‘Renaissance’, Eminem critiques Kendrick Lamar’s latest album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, suggesting it lacks hit tracks. “Cause I don’t see no fans, all I see’s a bunch of complainers/’Kendrick’s album was cool, but it didn’t have any bangers,” he raps, stirring the pot in Kendrick’s ongoing beef with Drake.
So far, Diddy, Kanye West, and Kendrick Lamar have not responded to Eminem’s direct mentions on his new album. The hip-hop community and fans are eagerly watching for their reactions, anticipating further drama in the ever-evolving rap beef landscape.
