Nigerian Afrobeat star Burna Boy has publicly responded to fellow musician Dammy Krane's accusations against Davido, which have stirred considerable controversy.
Dammy Krane took to Twitter with a series of incendiary tweets, accusing Davido of involvement in the death of their mutual friend Tagbo. Krane's tweets were explicit, stating, "I'M BOLDLY SAYING @davido HAS HAND IN TAGBO'S DEATH. IF IM LYING THEY SHOULD SUE ME, MAKE EVERYTHING CAST FOR COURT. Burna Boy quickly responded to Krane's allegations, expressing his disapproval in two separate tweets. In his first tweet, he emphasized the need for empathy, especially regarding legal issues, saying, "We both know how it feels to be locked up, why TF would you wish that on anyone? I gat love for u but I do NOT stand for none of this police ass shit. Take all this shit down please."

In his second tweet, Burna Boy urged Krane to retract his accusations, stating, "Bro. WTF are you doing?? Take this down now !! Make me and u no get problem abeg [please]. No be like this we dey handle differences [This isn't how we handle disagreements]."

The death of Tagbo in 2017 was a widely publicized tragedy in Nigeria, with numerous allegations and speculations surrounding the incident. Despite the accusations, Davido was never charged with any crime.
