Breaking: Canal overflows into Akinwumi Estate sack residents, Lagos State Emergency response came to rescue, one feared dead.

The canal in Akinwumi Estate, in Mende,  Maryland overflowed, causing chaos and devastation as it inundated the residential area. 

Residents were forced to evacuate their homes as the water levels continued to rise. In the midst of the chaos, one resident was feared to have been drowned. 

The situation became even more dire as the water began to seep into homes, causing damage to property and displacing families. 

The Lagos State Emergency response was right on time to assist with the rescue efforts, who are working tirelessly to evacuate residents and provide aid to those in need.

Despite their best efforts, the rescue operation was challenging and dangerous, with the fast-moving water making it difficult to reach those in need.
