Argentina has taken a cheeky jab at Canadian rapper Drake after he lost a $300,000 bet on the Copa America semi-final between Canada and Argentina.
Drake, hoping for a big win, placed a hefty bet on his home country. Had Jesse Marsch’s team triumphed, he would have pocketed a cool $2.8 million. However, Argentina dashed his hopes with a 2-0 victory, courtesy of goals from Julian Alvarez and Lionel Messi.
Following the game, Argentina's official football association (AFA) account couldn't resist a playful taunt. In a social media post, they referenced Kendrick Lamar’s iconic diss track aimed at Drake, "Not Like Us." The AFA account shared a picture of Messi and his jubilant teammates with the caption: "Not like us, not with us."
The post quickly went viral, adding a humorous twist to Drake's expensive loss and highlighting the playful rivalry that often accompanies major sporting events.
