American actress and media personality Amanda Seales has made a bold claim, alleging that the recent assassination attempt on former US President and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump was "staged."
According to the source, two people died after gunshots were fired at Trump's rally in Pennsylvania. The former president was reportedly rushed off stage by security staff, as confirmed by the Associated Press. The FBI identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as the "subject involved" in the attempted assassination of Trump.
Despite these confirmations, Seales expressed doubts about the authenticity of the assassination attempt in a video message shared on her social media platforms. The actress insisted that the incident was staged, comparing it to a theatrical production.
"That sh*t was more staged than a Tyler Perry production of Madea Runs for President," she declared. "I lived in Harlem long enough to know gunshots do not sound like making popcorn on the stove. Where did the bullet come from? In theater/movies, there is something called a blood pellet. You place it in your mouth, you crush it, and then blood comes out."
Seales further argued, "To be frank, Trump would not respond by raising his hand in the air where an actual attempt was made on his life."
Her comments have sparked controversy and debate on social media, with many questioning the validity of her claims and the implications of such an accusation. The discussion continues as the investigation into the incident unfolds.
