The "Oliver Twist" hitmaker is gearing up for a massive celebration of his 20 years in the music industry, and it wouldn't be complete without acknowledging the man who helped him rise to the top - Don Jazzy.
In a heartwarming video shared on social media, D'banj personally invited Don Jazzy to his anniversary dinner, sparking a wave of nostalgia amongst fans.
"My 20 year journey cannot be complete without It's @DONJAZZY again!" D'banj captioned the video. "This reunion was filled with so many memories of the incredible things we achieved together as Mo' Hits."
Don Jazzy and D'banj co-founded the now-disbanded Mo' Hits Records in 2004, leaving an undeniable mark on Afrobeats. Though they went their separate ways in 2012, their creative partnership and friendship remain a cherished part of music history.
