Influencer Ashmusy has sparked significant debate by returning 1 million naira after being publicly called out by VeryDarkMan (VDM) for not refunding a brand promotion payment.
The controversy began when Ashmusy, despite promising to refund the money, allegedly requested an additional 1.5 million naira, leading to VDM's public reprimand. See the initial video posted by VDM where he first called out the influencer below. He captioned it:

However, after VDM's dragging, Ashmusy became confused and claimed the place was too far and demanded an additional five hundred thousand to make 1.5 million. She sent the voice note to the man and claimed nobody listened to her side of the story. VDM receiving the voice note further dragged Ashmusy to quickly send back the man's money if she cannot come.
VDM dropped another video which he captioned, "I knew ashmusy will play innocent that’s why i didn’t add this part to the first video… @ashmusy. MADAM REFUND THAT MONEY ASAP….VERY FAST."

Furthermore, fast forward to yesterday, Ashmusy eventually paid the man the N1,000,000.00. VDM also posted about it with the evidence of the refund. He also demanded that Ashmusy should explain why she asked the man to leave the 1 million naira for her a beautiful girl. See the video below:
