The rivalry between Nollywood actresses Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham appears to be heating up once again, as Toyin teased her latest project on social media.
In a recent Instagram post, Toyin wished her fans a happy new month and revealed that a sequel to her popular movie "Alakada" would be premiering in December. The sequel is titled "Say Bad and Boujee."

The recent announcement has sparked a mixed reaction among fans, with some drawing comparisons to Funke Akindele's recent announcement of a sequel to her hit movie, "Jenifa." Akindele revealed that a spinoff from the "Jenifa" franchise, titled "Everybody Loves Jenifa," would premiere in December.

The rivalry between Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele has been a topic of discussion for years, with both actresses dominating the TV screen. The alleged feud between them became evident when they both chose September 10, 2021, to release their movies; "Ghost and the Tout Too" in cinemas and "Omo Ghetto the Saga" on Netflix.
However, the two actresses reportedly settled their differences last year, as Toyin Abraham celebrated Funke on her birthday, and Funke reciprocated. Toyin also attended Funke Akindele’s movie premiere, "She Must Be Obeyed," which seemed to further dispel any rumors of animosity between them.
Last week, Toyin Abraham wrote an open letter to Funke Akindele, addressing their past feud and congratulating her on her achievements. Akindele responded by wishing Toyin Abraham all the best.
