Sola Sobowale Debunked The Claim Of Being Arrested For Drug Trafficking In Saudi Arabia [Video]

Veteran Nollywood actress Sola Sobowale has dispelled rumors circulating about her purported arrest and death sentence for drug trafficking in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking on the 'Deep Drive' podcast hosted by Teju Babyface, the 'King Of Boys' star reminisced about the past, recalling that when she departed Nigeria for the United Kingdom, numerous unfounded reports surfaced, including false claims of her demise in the Middle East.

“They killed me in Saudi Arabia that I carried cocaine. They got me arrested and there, they amputated my leg, my hand, and I said to them that I’m a star in Nigeria. And because of that, I said they should kill me and they did,” she sarcastically recounted.

The 58-year-old actress clarified that upon her return to Nigeria, she promptly refuted the fabricated story, emphasizing that she has never visited Saudi Arabia.

She expressed gratitude, stating that God has rewarded her for enduring the unfounded rumors that circulated about her.
