Popular singer Joseph Akinfenwaa Donus, better known as Joeboy, has voiced his frustration with the federal government for prioritizing the change of Nigeria's National Anthem over addressing the numerous pressing issues facing the country.

This reaction comes in the wake of President Bola Tinubu signing the National Anthem Bill 2024 into law on Wednesday, which reinstates the old anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”

"Of all the problems Nigerians have to deal with, changing the national anthem is priority? Okay naw," Joeboy wrote, encapsulating the sentiments of many Nigerians who are grappling with issues such as economic instability, security concerns, and infrastructural deficiencies.
