Nigerian entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest has appeared at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos State for the continuation of his trial on charges of alleged naira abuse.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) filed a three-count charge against him on April 16, leading to his arraignment the following day.

During the court session, Cubana Chief Priest pleaded not guilty to the charges. The presiding judge, Kehinde Ogundare, granted him bail in the sum of N10 million with two responsible sureties in like sum. The judge stipulated that the bail conditions must be fulfilled within seven days.
Cubana Chief Priest was released to his lawyer, who must provide an undertaking to ensure his presence at future court proceedings. Failure to comply may result in his remand in a correctional facility.
