Nigerian entertainer and activist Charly Boy has once again voiced his dissatisfaction with the current state of the country, sharing a poignant video on his Twitter page.

In a strongly-worded message, he decried the problems plaguing Nigeria under the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Via his X handle, Charly Boy shared an interview featuring Prof Usman Yusuf, conducted by Seun of Channels TV. During the interview, Prof Yusuf expressed deep concern over the state of affairs in Nigeria and the disconnect between politicians and the ordinary citizen.

Prof Yusuf stated, "Nigerians have lost hope in their Government. The leaders have promised them so much that they don't believe anything anymore." He highlighted the disillusionment of ordinary citizens with their political leaders, citing a report indicating that about 70 million Nigerian adults suffer from hypertension, with half unable to afford necessary medication due to the high cost of drugs.

He lamented the rising cost of commodities, emphasizing that the country's leaders are disconnected from the realities faced by the people. "There is nothing the politicians from high to low will tell the people that they would believe them," he said, underscoring the widespread mistrust between the populace and their representatives.

Criticizing the government's taxation policy, Prof Yusuf described the economic team as mere tax collectors, arguing that "tax does not grow a nation but production does." He advocated for policies that stimulate production rather than impose additional financial burdens on citizens.

Prof Yusuf did not mince words in his assessment of the current administration, branding it a "government of deception." His candid remarks reflect a growing frustration among Nigerians who feel let down by their leaders and burdened by economic hardships.

Sharing the video, Charly Boy wrote:

"E Don RED.
"Oh! God.
"See wetin APC don turn Nigeria and Nigerians to.

"Na we get problem pass bcos for many of us, our Mumu never Belleful us.
