Cardi B Responds to TMZ Question About Ayra Starr's Comment on Cardi's Met Gala Outfit [Video]

American rapper Cardi B has responded to a recent incident involving Nigerian singer Ayra Starr and a TMZ reporter.

The reporter asked Ayra Starr a question about Cardi B's outfit at the Met Gala, specifically about Cardi B's apparent inability to recall the designers of her dress. 

In the video, the TMZ crew mentioned that Cardi B's Met Gala dress took months to make, but she couldn't remember the designers' names when asked. The reporter then questioned Ayra Starr about whether she thought this was disrespectful to the designer.

Ayra Starr responded by suggesting that Cardi B may have been nervous and that nerves can sometimes lead to forgetfulness. She expressed her love for Cardi B and defended her, saying she didn't think it was intentional.

Reacting to Ayra Starr's comments, Cardi B took to Twitter to address the situation. She stated that she didn't like the reporter's question and found it disrespectful.

Cardi B emphasized that she was not nervous at the Met Gala and knew the designers of her dress, but chose not to reveal their names at that moment.

Here is the exchange between the reporter and Arya Starr:

TMZ reporter: "The dress that she wore to the Met Gala took months to make and she didn’t remember the name of the designers who made the dress. She said she was supposed to stand and pose on the podium and there was a lot going on but you’ve been on a lot of red carpets, is it disrespectful to not know the designer’s name?"

The reporter asked what Starr thought of Cardi B forgetting the names of her designers here is her perfect response:

Ayra Starr: "It’s nerves sometimes, I don’t know, to be honest, I don’t know."

The nosy reporter queries further: "You’ve been on tons of red carpets, it’s kind of why you’re there. So if I came to you and said I forgot the name of your new album, you’d be like ‘What the hell, do you research girl’. Is there a way that you remember things that you need to know that maybe you can give advice to Cardi B on?"

Ayra Starr said firmly: "I don’t know. I love Cardi B always, every time."
