Renowned Nollywood actress Shan George has successfully retrieved the N3.6 million she lost to a scammer, a significant victory following a distressing incident.

The actress, celebrated for her roles in numerous Nigerian films, fell victim to a fraudulent scheme but has now recovered her funds.

Nollywood Times recalls that Shan George first raised the alarm after discovering that all the funds in her Zenith bank account, totaling N3.6 million, had disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

She revealed that a lady named Cecilia Chiagoziem Okoro fraudulently transferred the entire sum to an Opay account belonging to the scammer.

Taking to her Instagram page, Shan George shared screenshots as evidence of the fraudulent activity and sought assistance from her followers and prominent media personalities.

In a recent development, Shan George released a video statement on her Instagram channel, expressing relief and gratitude for the recovery. She thanked the relevant authorities for their swift action in resolving the matter.

She captioned the post:
