Phyna, the winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) 2022, has become a trending topic online after breaking down in tears and revealing that the reality show still owes her $1BTC, now valued at over N100 million.

In a new video circulating online, Phyna expressed her frustration and disappointment, stating that despite her victory, she feels as if she has not won anything substantial. This comes after previous claims that she had received only N50 million out of the N100 million prize she was promised, with the remaining rewards from the sponsors yet to be delivered.

In an official statement shared via her verified Instagram page on April 8, 2024, Phyna detailed the items she has yet to receive:

- Quidax Global: 1 BTC (valued at $70,052.00 at the time)

- Seven-Up Bottling Company (Pepsi): 1 year supply of Pepsi products

- Travelbeta: A trip for 2 to Dubai

- Evans Industries (Unik Soap): 1 year supply of soap products

Phyna revealed that after publicly calling out these sponsors, she eventually received all the promised rewards except the 1 BTC. The delay in receiving the Bitcoin prize, which has appreciated significantly in value, has been particularly distressing.

In her emotional plea, Phyna said: “Nigerians, please help me. Big Brother Naija is still owing me $1BTC worth over N100 million that I won. They have refused to give me the money and are saying I should do my worst and take them to court, that I can’t win against them.”

She added, “Big Brother has ruined my brand and image, and set me up for failure, making me drag them online for something that’s rightfully mine. They are making Nigerians see me as a nuisance and a very troublesome bad person. Since 2022 when I won Big Brother Naija, they have been owing me the $1BTC prize money I won, and they have refused to give it to me till today, telling me I can never win against them in court and I should go ahead and sue them.”

Phyna's heartfelt appeal has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with many fans and supporters calling for justice and urging the reality show organizers to fulfill their obligations.
