Social media influencer and activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has shared his thoughts on Bobrisky's jail term in a video posted on his Instagram handle on April 12, 2024.
While expressing regret over Bobrisky's sentencing, VeryDarkMan highlighted a silver lining, suggesting that Bobrisky's release in six months would coincide with Nigeria's Independence Day in October.
He reiterated his stance against Bobrisky's actions, particularly referencing a video showing Bobrisky engaging in a conjugal relationship with a man, which he vehemently opposes. VeryDarkMan claimed that he deliberately insulted senior police officers to draw attention to Bobrisky's actions and even spent 10 days in detention for it.
In his video, VeryDarkMan challenged individuals like James Brown and other transgenders to engage in similar acts on camera, stating that he would ensure they face consequences for their actions.
He argued that such behaviors negatively influence the youth and vowed to stop it, citing his detention as proof of his commitment. He also warned foreign embassies about public displays of amorous relationships with men, asserting that it is prohibited in Nigeria.
