Singer Ruger Reveals That He Have Two Guns

In a recent interview with content creator Timi Agbaje, Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known as Ruger, opened up about the inspiration behind his stage name.

During the conversation, Ruger revealed that he owns two firearms, shedding light on a unique aspect of his persona.

The interviewer asked, “What is the inspiration behind the name Ruger?”

Ruger replied, “It’s a gun, mehn.”

The interviewer asked, “It’s a gun? So you have a gun?”

Ruger replied, “Yeah, I do. I have two.”

Ruger did not specify whether the firearms he owns are licensed. 

Last year, the Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, announced a temporary ban on the issuance of firearms licenses, stating that the police force is currently engaged in mopping up arms in circulation. Egbetokun noted that while the policy might be reviewed in the future, firearms licenses are not being issued nationwide at the moment.
