Junior Pope: Two Boat Drivers Arrested, Movie Producer Adanma Luke Turned Herself In To The Police

Adanma Luke, a prominent figure in Nollywood film production, has reportedly turned herself in to the Anambra State Police Command amid intense scrutiny following the tragic incident involving Nollywood actor Junior Pope and four crew members.

According to SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the state command's spokesperson, Adanma voluntarily surrendered to the police on Thursday, April 11, and provided a statement.

Ikenga revealed that two boat operators linked to the tragic incident have been arrested and are currently in police custody.

In an effort to ensure transparency, Ikenga assured the public that every aspect of the incident would be thoroughly investigated. He added that additional members of the movie's cast and crew would be called in for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation.

The tragic incident occurred when Junior Pope and others were en route to a movie location and Pope fell into the River Niger in Asaba, Delta state, leading to his untimely death.

A viral video showed TC Virus ringing a bell on the boat before the mishap, with TC Virus later sharing on Instagram live that he had performed a ritual to honor water spirits before the boat trip.

TC Virus also alleged that Adanma Luke ordered his arrest following the boat operator's claim that he caused the mishap, though TC Virus himself managed to escape unharmed.
