Solidstar Tell His Drug Addiction Story [Video]

SolidStar, whose real name is Joshua Iniyezo, recently opened up about his battle with drug addiction.

He revealed that he was introduced to a substance called "ice" by some young boys, which led to his addiction.

In an interview with The Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel (Nedu), Toun Cole, and Husband Material, SolidStar shared that his addiction to the substance was so severe that he once walked from Awoyaya to the Oriental Hotel in Lagos.

Solidstar said, "So, I say make I go chill for FESTAC,  I say make I go do like six months for FESTAC. I don plan myself say na hotel i wan stay for six months. 

"So new new friends because old friends no dey again, young young boys they come introduced me to this substance,  ice them say e dey give vibe. 

"Na there I begin follow them dey take am, na me con dey take am pass.

"Sometimes, this substance will tell me you are king, you are this, you are that, make I no dey pay for stuffs. Can you imagine say I waka from Awoyaya to Oriental Hotel.”

SolidStar was spotted looking dirty and walking aimlessly on the street a few months ago, raising concerns about his well-being. His brother, Joseph, shared a video explaining that the singer was grappling with drug addiction, which was taking a toll on him.
