Veteran singer and former member of The Remedies, Tony Tetuila, has refuted claims made by his ex-bandmate, Eedris Abdulkareem, suggesting that Tetuila was accepted into the group out of pity.
Abdulkareem had stated in a recent podcast interview that he and Eldee were the original members of The Remedies, and Tetuila later joined the group after they met him at a show in Ilorin, Kwara State. Abdulkareem implied that Tetuila was desperate to sing, and they allowed him to join to have more songs.
In response, Tetuila shared a clip of himself watching Abdulkareem's podcast interview on his TikTok page and expressed his disappointment with his former bandmate's claims.
“I am highly disappointed in this guy, he is a bloody liar, how could a grown man like this be telling lies? Na GOD go punish who dey lie,” he said.
