Singer Davido's aide, Lati, also known as Davido's right-hand man, has recently compensated a fan of the singer whom he punched a few days ago with N200,000.
The incident as reported by Nollywood Times occurred when Davido and his 30BG crew were passing through the reception at an event, and an overzealous fan attempted to get close to Davido to take a picture with him. Lati, without warning, landed a heavy punch on the fan's face, swiftly displacing him.
The video of the incident went viral on social media, sparking outrage among netizens who criticized Lati for his actions. However, according to unconfirmed online reports, Lati later acknowledged his mistake, apologized to the fan, and compensated him with N200,000.
Lati reached out to the fan through a burner account, expressing his regret for the incident and offering compensation as a gesture of goodwill.
