INIFFAA 2024: Inside Nollywood Set To Pay Tribute to Industry Veterans

Inside Nollywood is gearing up to pay tribute to esteemed veterans of the film industry at the highly anticipated International Film Festival & Awards (INIFFAA), slated to run from February 15th to 17th, 2024, in Abuja.

Renowned Nigerian Actor and event Ambassador, Nonso Diobi, along with Muoma Obinna, the Founder & CEO of Inside Nollywood, expressed excitement about INIFFAA 2024, emphasizing its role in fostering global unity within the cinematic community. This year's event will see filmmakers, producers, and industry luminaries from Nigeria and beyond convening in Abuja for an enriching cultural experience.

This edition of the festival holds special significance as Inside Nollywood celebrates its decade-long journey of nurturing originality and shaping the landscape of the Nigerian film industry.

Organizers promise that INIFFAA 2024 will be a grand celebration of outstanding Nollywood productions, providing a prestigious platform for filmmakers, actors, and industry professionals to gain recognition for their exceptional contributions.

With a wide array of categories including Best Actor, Best Actress, Most Controversial Movie, and Best Film Distribution Company, the festival aims to spotlight the diversity and ingenuity inherent in Nigerian cinema.

In a unique fusion of entertainment and tradition, INIFFAA is collaborating with Indigenous Sports Week Abuja to showcase Dambe, a traditional martial art form. Attendees can look forward to live Dambe fights, offering a captivating blend of cultural heritage and excitement.

The event is set to welcome esteemed dignitaries such as Hannatu Musa Musawa, Nigeria’s Federal Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, and Doris Uzoka-Anite, MD, CFA, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, among others.

Muoma highlighted the significance of INIFFAA 2024, stating, "It underscores the remarkable growth and creativity of Nollywood over the past decade. We're not only celebrating our achievements but also embracing our cultural heritage by partnering with Indigenous Sports Week Abuja to showcase the dynamic and traditional sport of Dambe."
