A chaotic scene unfolded at a Mr Biggs' eatery in Owerri, as an angry girlfriend confronted her boyfriend who was on a date with another woman.
The girlfriend, seemingly tipped off by a friend, arrived at the eatery and was shocked to find her boyfriend with another girl. In a fit of rage, the girlfriend created a scene, disrupting the lunch date and pouring the food over the couple.
Despite the man's attempts to calm her down, she ran outside crying saying "You dare to break my heart again....?" and eventually reached the car park before the boyfriend.
Once at the car, she scratched and defaced her boyfriend's Prado Jeep, all while crying and being restrained by onlookers. Some men at the scene expressed anger towards her actions, suggesting they would have reacted violently if in the boyfriend's position.
When the boyfriend finally arrived at the scene, onlookers said to him, "You no go commot your car? Until she breaks your glass" He got into his car, ignoring the girlfriend's curses and accusations. However, he faced her while stepping in his car asking, "Are you the only girl in Owerri?"
In response, she cried, "Am I the only girl in Owerri abi? After three years, You will regret it. Ohhh God, I have not done enough, I have not done enough!" She used all manners of curse words before returning to writing on the car.
Despite her continued outburst, he eventually drove away, albeit slowly due to another car blocking him from behind.
The girlfriend's friend intervened when a security guard tried to stop her, adding to the chaotic situation. Throughout the ordeal, the girlfriend expressed her hurt and anger, threatening that the boyfriend would regret his actions.
