In a recent incident that has caught the attention of fans and the public alike, popular Nigerian musician Bella Shmurda rejected a portrait of himself and his late friend, Mohbad, during a live performance.

The video circulating on the internet captures the moment when a concert attendee presented Bella Shmurda with a portrait featuring him and the deceased singer, Mohbad.

However, to the surprise of many, Bella Shmurda declined the gift, expressing that he couldn't keep it in his house.

Speaking in Yoruba, he said; “You that brought this picture will be the same person to take it back because I can’t put this in my house, but I will give you money.”

The incident resurfaces memories of Mohbad's controversial passing on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, and raises questions about the complexities surrounding the relationships in the music industry.
