DJ Cuppy Vows to Remain a Lover Despite Past Heartbreaks

Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has declared her commitment to love despite experiencing heartbreaks in the past.

The singer, whose engagement to British boxer Ryan Taylor did not materialize, shared that a conversation with her grandmother played a pivotal role in reshaping her mindset about relationships.

DJ Cuppy revealed that her grandmother recounted a special childhood story, serving as a poignant reminder of the warmth and compassion in her heart. The experience prompted her to declare her determination to continue embracing love despite any challenges.

Sharing a clip of her and her sisters with her grandmother via her Instagram page, she: “My grandmother shared a special childhood story about me. This is a moment I will cherish forever, it reminds me how much of a heart I still have. I am and will always be a lover. Btw, my real name is Ifeoluwa.”

Nollywood Times recalls DJ Cuppy's recent heartbreak, which stemmed from her broken engagement with Ryan Taylor.

The couple called it quits in July 2023, just seven months after their surprising engagement in November 2022.
