Amidst recent controversy, Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to take center stage at the highly anticipated UnitedMasters Grammy Weekend Concert. Organized by the music platform UnitedMasters, this event will precede the 66th Academy Grammy Awards.

Scheduled for Friday, February 2nd, 2024, at the Hollywood Palladium, the concert will feature Davido as the headlining act, alongside Dominican rapper Tokischa and South Africa-based DJ Artist Uncle Waffles.

The concert, which drew an audience of over 2,500 individuals last year, is expected to attract a diverse crowd. Notable figures like Jay Z, Beyonce, Nas, DJ Khaled, Wiz Khalifa, Future, Damson Idris, and others attended the previous edition.

Davido's prominence has soared with the release of his comeback album, "Timeless," amassing over a billion streams. This success has led to a Grammy nomination, with "Timeless" competing in three categories at the 2024 Grammys: Best Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Global Music Album.

Davido is set to vie for the Best Global Music Performance category, competing against artists like Burna Boy, Arooj Aftab, Silvana Estrada, Béla Fleck, Falu, and Gaurav Shah.

Furthermore, he will go head-to-head with Bokante, Susana Baca, Burna Boy, and Shakti for the prestigious Best Global Music Album title.

In the Best African Music Performance category, Davido faces tough competition from renowned artists such as Tyla from South Africa, Asake, Ayra Starr, and Burna Boy.
