Popular Nigerian comedian and singer, Carter Efe, has taken to social media to address his fans, expressing his decision not to release his upcoming song, "Babypiano," any longer. In a video shared on his verified Instagram page, Carter Efe pleaded with his followers, citing that the feedback he received so far has not been encouraging.

A few days ago, the comedian had teased fans with a snippet of the song "Babypiano," featuring kids' poems and the Nigerian national anthem in its lyrics.

However, after the release of the snippet, Carter Efe faced significant criticism from music enthusiasts, with many vehemently advising him against releasing the song.

In particular, a video surfaced of Carter Efe performing the controversial lyrics at a party, further intensifying the negative reactions.

Amidst continuous backlash and advice from friends, Carter Efe has decided to heed the warnings and announced that he will no longer be releasing the song "Babypiano."

This decision comes in response to concerns from fans who expressed discontent with the content, with some drawing comparisons to the legendary Fela Kuti and suggesting that Carter Efe might be jeopardizing the legacy of Afrobeat.

In the Instagram post, Carter Efe who is on a bended knees as he begs his fans and followers wrote; “Forgive me No more BABYPIANO🙏.”
