Wizkid is missing his mother, saying life is meaningless without her

Nigerian musician Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has opened up about the pain he is experiencing following the death of his mother, Dolapo Balogun.

The singer lost his mother in August 2023 during a tour for his album, 'More Love Less Ego,' in Europe.

Expressing his emotions on social media, Wizkid shared that life has felt meaningless without his mother. In a post on his Instagram page on Wednesday, he encouraged his fans to work with God.

He wrote; “Made idk days after I lost my mum. Life has been meaningless! But we dey. Sometimes you have to let everything go. Work with God.”
