Singer Mr Real has disclosed the reason he rejected Davido's offer to fund the video shoot for his hit track 'Legbegbe.'
According to Mr Real, he turned down the offer because his colleague, Idowest, had allegedly fabricated stories about him for Davido's crew, 30BG.
He said: “This guy, Idowest, had gone to 30BG and said things that I didn’t say. Do you know how I found out? When I was looking for funds to shoot ‘Legbegbe’ video, Idowest and Obadice came and told me that Davido wanted to shoot the video for us.
“But I said I don’t want anyone to shoot the video for me. And the reason why was because I had already seen the green snake and everything thing he was doing.
“On a norm, how can I reject Davido’s offer to shoot my video? But as a soji guy, me I realised that they want to run me street already; una wan come complete am with the video thing, wey be say na only one scene I go show.”
Our source recalls that Mr Real had collaborated with Obadice and Idowest in 2018 for the release of 'Legbegbe.' However, in a recent development, Mr Real accused Idowest of stealing 'Legbegbe' and sabotaging his career.
