Lil Durk, the American rapper, unveils intentions to host a 'free' concert in Nigeria

American rapper and singer, Lil Durk, has announced plans to hold a "free" concert in Nigeria.

The artist, known for songs like "All My Life," was originally scheduled to perform at an event in Lagos in December but did not show up.

Taking to his social media platform on Saturday morning, Lil Durk explained that the situation was not his fault.

Despite the earlier disappointment, he expressed his love for Nigeria and pledged to organize a "free" concert in the country soon.

He wrote: “I got to make the show up for free for Nigeria even if I ain’t my fault [I didn’t show up for the December event]. Y’all my family I got y’all 4ever.”

Lil Durk has gained a cult-like following among Nigerian youths, particularly among Generation Z.

His latest song, 'All My Life,' featuring J.Cole, quickly climbed to the number one spot on Apple Music Nigeria within 24 hours of its release, showcasing his popularity among the Nigerian audience.
