Chibuzor Oji, the veteran singer and former member of the defunct Plantashun Boiz, popularly known as Faze, has disclosed that he has never consumed alcohol, smoked cigarettes, or engaged in the use of illicit substances.
The 46-year-old artist attributed his enduring singing voice and overall physical well-being to maintaining a healthy lifestyle throughout his career.
Speaking in a recent interview with TVC, Faze said, “I don’t do anything special to maintain my voice. I think it has to do with my lifestyle. I don’t take drugs and I’ve never drank alcohol or smoked in my life.
“It has to do with health too. I’m the kind of person that likes to check up on my health.”
Faze shared in the interview that he prioritizes drinking a lot of water to maintain his health.
The 'Kolomental' crooner also expressed his observation that contemporary artists are less concerned about crafting good lyrical content, as fans are more inclined toward danceable music.
