COP28: Davido reacts as Netizens slam Toke Makinwa, others’ presence in Dubai

Famous singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has weighed in on the criticisms surrounding the presence of individuals, including actress Toke Makinwa, at the ongoing COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Addressing the backlash on social media over the large Nigerian delegation to COP-28, which includes Toke Makinwa, Davido noted that any Nigerian in Dubai for a holiday would be hesitant to post on social media due to the potential backlash. He found the reactions amusing and expressed his love for the way Nigerians are expressing their concerns over the delegation list.

The public's response to the size and composition of the delegation reflects ongoing discussions about the efficiency and necessity of government delegations to international events.

On his X handle, Davido wrote, “So person wey just really go flex for Dubai now on him own no fit post. Sh*t funny AF …. I love it.”
