Hollywood star Taraji P. Henson has expressed her frustration over the exploitation of Black women in the entertainment industry.
The actor, known for her role in "Acrimony," revealed that she is tired of being exploited and has heard similar complaints from other Black female entertainers.

During a recent podcast interview with SiriusXM, Henson disclosed that she has been earning far less than what she believes she deserves.
She said, “I’m just tired of working so hard, being gracious at what I do and being paid a fraction of the cost.“I’m tired of my sisters saying the same thing over and over. You get tired. I hear people go, ‘You work a lot.’ The math ain’t mathing, every time I negotiate, it’s like I’m starting from the bottom.” (sic)
