Colombian singer, Shakira has been crowned as the most trending musician globally on Google for the year 2023.
Topping the chart with her iconic ‘Hips Don’t Lie’, Shakira leads the recently unveiled list by the renowned search engine.
Following closely are the American music sensations Jason Aldean, Joe Jonas, and the band Smash Mouth, along with Italy’s beloved Peppino di Capri, securing the second, third, fourth, and fifth positions, respectively.
The list is rounded out with Gino Paoli, Tom Kaulitz, Kellie Pickler, José Luis Perales, and Anna Oxa, making up the remainder of the top ten.
In other news, the American pop icon Taylor Swift has achieved the status of being the most-searched songwriter on Google in history.
Additionally, Beyoncé’s unforgettable 2018 Coachella show has been etched in history as Google’s most-searched live performance ever.
