Yhemolee files a lawsuit against Lil Frosh, seeking N200 million in damages over alleged assault

Renowned actor and media personality Adeyemi Idowu, popularly known as Yhemolee, has taken legal action against singer Lil Frosh by filing a N200 million defamation lawsuit.

This move comes in response to recent allegations made by Lil Frosh, who claimed that Yhemolee had slapped him for not greeting.

In light of the singer's accusations, Yhemolee has chosen to address the matter through legal means, seeking redress for the alleged defamation.

The lawsuit reflects a decisive step taken by the actor to protect his reputation and contest the claims made against him by Lil Frosh.

Yhemolee shared a copy of the lawsuit via his Instagram handle with the caption: “The past few days has been a whole lot as I have been falsely accused continuously by @lhilfroshgram which has led me to get multiple death threats from random people, my timeline has been a mess for over 72hrs for something I’m clearly innocent of.

“This is a pre-action notice to @lhilfroshgram

“Attached letter from my lawyer is for your attention.”

In the legal action against Lil Frosh, actor and media personality Adeyemi Idowu (Yhemolee) has outlined specific demands. Yhemolee is seeking a public apology from Lil Frosh, a retraction of the allegations made against him, and a payment of N200 million in damages. 

The suit added: “Take notice that you are to fully comply with the above demands within Fourteen (14) days from the date of your receipt of this letter, or from the day you are given constructive notice of same.

“And take further notice that we have the definite instructions of our Client to commence legal proceedings against you if you fail, neglect or refuse to comply fully with the demands articulated above.”
