Why my marriage crashed – Actress Lolo

Nollywood actress and media personality, Omotunde Adebowale-David, who is widely recognized as Lolo1, has disclosed that her marriage came to an end because "life happened."

The mother of four, who is now a single parent, characterized her marriage experience as a "make or break situation." She discussed these aspects of her personal life during a recent interview with TVC.

“Well for me, life happened. A lot of times people go into marriage with a little bit of understanding of what they really are going into. And they don’t have a clear picture. Unfortunately, their lives unfold during the marriage and it is like a make-or-mar situation. I think that’s what happened to me,” she said.

She shared that her transition from law to radio was entirely unplanned. Her affinity for the media had always been present, and while she initially believed she would become a television presenter, it was the world of radio that discovered her.

She explained that her journey began with a search for a job at a television station, which led her to a media training school where she discovered her passion for radio presenting.

In addition, Lolo1 revealed that her earnings as a compere surpass those from her work as an actress and radio presenter.

Furthermore, the 46-year-old law school graduate has aspirations to enter the music industry and embark on tour engagements.
