Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has reappeared online after a prolonged absence due to an undisclosed illness. Nollywood Times recalls the actress was battling with her health and life since 2022.
The actress, who had been battling health issues for nearly two years, made her first public appearance during the governorship election in Kogi state on Saturday, November 11.
Halima Abubakar, who had attributed her health challenges to an alleged relationship with controversial clergyman Apostle Suleman, shared photos and clips on social media expressing her honor at being back in her state. The appearance marked her first outing in two years, signaling a positive turn in her health.
Expressing joy for returning to her hometown to be part of a history-making activity, she wrote, “It was an honor Kogi state. Nothing like home🙏 Kogi state election👏🏾 My first outing in 2years🎉 God showed up for me 🙏🙏Amb halima Abubakar”.
