Veteran Kannywood actor, Usman Baba Pategi, renowned by his stage name Samanja, has passed away.

Samanja, who was a former staff of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) in Kaduna and a retired soldier, left behind two wives and 14 children.
His burial took place in Kaduna on Sunday, conducted according to Islamic rites.
