She acknowledged her substantial potential and the worry that she might overshadow her spouse. However, when she finally gathered the courage to express these concerns to him, she was met with encouragement and reassurance.

In a lengthy Instagram post celebrating their wedding anniversary, Mrs. Etim-Effiong described her husband's response as feeling like a significant impartation. He not only provided his blessing but also urged her to pursue her endeavors freely. This support from her husband helped alleviate the burden of her worries, allowing her to embrace her potential and aspirations with confidence.

“I felt emboldened and encouraged. I had the full support of the most important person in my life and it was liberating! I began to make preparations to take flight. A little while later, I did. I took flight and I’m still ascending,” she wrote.

The couple, Toyosi Etim-Effiong and her husband, celebrated their wedding anniversary on November 4, 2023, marking six years of their marital journey. Their union has also been blessed with the arrival of their first child, a baby girl, who was born in January 2019. This joyous addition to their family has further enriched their lives and journey together.
