James Aloba, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, has responded to his daughter-in-law's assertion that their relationship soured due to her refusal to provide him with her son's placenta.

This claim was made by Omowunmi during the coroner's inquest into Mohbad's death.

In a video circulating on social media, Elder Aloba refuted the allegation, denying ever making such a demand. He asserted that "posterity will be the judge," emphasizing his disagreement with the narrative presented by his daughter-in-law.
