The nationwide strike led by organized labour has disrupted the coroner's inquest into the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Security officials at the court prevented judiciary staff and magistrates from entering the building on Wednesday, causing a halt to the proceedings.
The courtroom remained locked in compliance with the ongoing strike, impacting the scheduled hearing on November 15.
Nigerian workers, represented by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), initiated the nationwide strike in protest of the alleged brutalization of NLC's National President, Joe Ajaero, in Owerri, Imo State, on November 1.
Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Record label owned by Naira Marley, passed away on September 12 under controversial circumstances.
