Legal Battle Unfolds as Iyabo Ojo Sues Lizzy Anjorin for Defamation, demands M500m damages

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has initiated legal proceedings against her fellow actress, Lizzy Anjorin, following a string of damaging accusations.

Lizzy had taken to social media to assert that Iyabo was romantically involved with singer Naira Marley, leveling various allegations against Iyabo's daughter and her partner, Paulo.

Additionally, Lizzy implicated Iyabo as the mastermind behind the infamous anonymous blog, Gistlover.

In response, Iyabo Ojo, through her legal representative Olumide Alake, has issued a letter to Lizzy demanding a public apology and compensation totaling N500 million.

Lizzy Anjorin has been given a 14-day window to respond to the legal action. The unfolding saga promises to be a riveting legal showdown in the Nollywood spotlight.

Sharing screenshots of the lawsuit on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Iyabo wrote: “14 days is round the corner. Saga activated.”
