Nigerian hip-hop artist and actor Reminisce, whose real name is Remilekun Abdulkalid Safaru, has announced his retirement from acting. Reminisce made his acting debut in the 2018 action crime thriller "King Of Boys" where he portrayed the character Makanaki.
In the latest episode of the Zero Conditions podcast, the "Local Rappers" crooner explained that he would no longer accept any acting roles. He indicated that his decision to take on the role in "King Of Boys" was driven by a desire to explore something new, and now he has opted to focus solely on his music career.
“I am not acting again. I’m not interested anymore,” he said.
Reminisce expressed his desire to fulfill the wishes of fans who hoped to see him in more movies but clarified that he has decided not to take on any more acting roles.
He emphasized his adventurous nature and suggested that he might explore the possibility of becoming a newscaster in the future, purely for the enjoyment of the experience.
